CMS (Content Management System)
Being able to easily keep your site content up to date and actual is a very important requirement in this day & age. Web sites have become much more dynamic, providing a wide variety of information and functionality. With this in mind, we offer an excellent tool that makes doing this as simple as using a word processor.
Content Editing
The CMS (Content Management System) provides a powerful content editing interface, in short called CMS Desk. It allows users to edit content, preview it before publishing, organize site structure and manage extending modules.
WYSIWYG editor
The built-in WYSIWYG editor is fully integrated into the system. It enables content editors to edit content like if they were using Word. It features:
- basic or advanced formatting
- insertion of uploaded images and Flash movies
- linking to other pages or external files and sites
We can modify the editor tool bar to restrict the formatting options to your own requirements.
Content tree and content organization
The content is organized into a tree hierarchy of documents (pages). The hierarchy (content tree) represents the site map and the navigation structure. This allows you to visualize your site structure in one view.
Page templates
We can create various different Page Templates for you. Page templates can be re-used by content editors for several pages with same layout. Page templates can either contain editable regions where content editors enter the text or they can display structured documents .
Content Scheduling and Archiving
You can specify when the document should be published and when it expires. A document can be archived so that it's no longer displayed on the web, but it's still stored in the content repository.
File Management
Files in the CMS can be managed as any other document. You can even leverage advanced content management features, such as work flow and versioning or multi-lingual support for files.
Files can be uploaded through web browser or you can use a File Import module for a batch import of specified directory on the server where the files were copied.
Built-in image resizing support
The CMS allows you to display images resized to given width, height or maximum side size, without having to use any image editor.
Multiple languages
If your site needs to support multiple languages, our CMS is the right choice. It allows you to organize multi-language content and switch between different languages of the same document - both in editing interface and on the live site.
You can use any number of languages on a single site. Each language can have its own site structure that is completely independent on the other languages.
If some document is not translated into required language, you can optionally display the default language version.
Automatic Language Selection
The appropriate content culture can be automatically selected based on the domain name or based on the visitor's browser settings.
Eastern Languages and UNICODE
All content is stored in UNICODE and displayed in UTF-8 or UTF-16 encoding which ensures compatibility with any language, including Chinese or Japanese.
Right-to-Left Support
The CMS automatically supports RTL languages. A single web site can be created in both LTR and RTL language, such as Hebrew or Arabic.
Globalization Support
The CMS can be configured for any calendar and numeric format and the user interface can be easily translated to any language using its administration interface.
